    Posting Title: Account Manager

    Location: Home Office / Remote

    Position Summary: This key sales management role is responsible for managing the customer interface for assigned customers across a range of end-market segments.


    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute account strategies
    • Build and maintain customer relationships at multiple levels
    • Negotiate supply contracts
    • Forecast customer product supply needs
    • Resolve customer issues by acting as the primary interface between customer and internal resources (technical, supply chain, customer service)
    • Provide Market intelligence (industry trends, competitive behavior, new applications)
    • Research and pursue new markets
    • Additional duties may be assigned


    Required Skills and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year college or university is required. Those with an technical field/major are preferred
    • 5+ years of demonstrated success in sales or account management
    • Similar experience in a chemical or related industry is a major plus
    • Strong business acumen
    • Demonstrated strategic selling and negotiation skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
    • Available to travel up to 50% of the time
    • Experience with CRM/ERP software such as SAP is preferred but not required
