    Internal Title: Mine Maintenance Supervisor
    Location:Green River, Wyoming

    Pay Grade(s): 19-20

    Position Summary: This position is the eyes and ears in the mine to ensure the equipment is in good running order

    and safe for the miners to operate. It requires a variety of talent and skills to be proactive and available for the team.


    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Team safety action plan and performance
    • Technical training of direct reports
    • Communication with Production crews
    • Performance measures for the team
    • Crew performance
    • MSHA rules and regulations
    • Administrative responsibilities (Time-cards, OT, vacation approval)
    • Conflict resolution
    • Team development and crew training
    • Work notification planning (manpower, parts)
    • Crew tool and supply budget
    • Cost savings and efficiency improvement projects
    • Work area inspections
    • Fireboss mine
    • Permissibility checklists
    • Other duties as assigned



    Required Skills and Experience:

    • B.S. in Engineering from an accredited 4-year college or university with 3 years of underground maintenance and/or production experience OR High School diploma or equivalent (such as the GED)  with 5 years of heavy industrial maintenance or underground maintenance and/or production experience
    • Ability to obtain Temporary Wyoming Trona Foreman Papers and pass the exam for Wyoming Trona Foreman Papers at the next test opportunity

    Preferred Skills and Experience:

    • 3-5 years supervisory experience
    • Technical Certificate in mechanical maintenance
    • MSHA Electrical Card holder
    • Basic MS Office skills, specifically Excel
