    Responsibilities

    Posting Title:Environmental Engineering Coordinator
    Location:Green River, WY

    Pay Grade: 22

    Position Summary: The Environmental Engineering Coordinator works cross-functionally across the site, addressing the environmental regulatory and compliance needs of the business including day-to-day operations and capital projects.

     

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable environmental regulations
    • Apply for and obtain permits and agreements for new and ongoing operations
    • Regulatory compliance oversight (air, water, land, wildlife, water, toxics, DOT)
    • Regulatory notification, reporting, and permitting
    • Coordination and oversight of a major plant of program environmental activities
    • Employee development and performance
    • Environmental and safety audits
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    Required Skills and Experience:

    • Associate's degree in Environmental Science OR Bachelor’s degree  in Engineering with environmental emphasis or Environmental management OR BS in Engineering or Physical Sciences, plus relevant environmental experience, from an accredited educational institution.
    •  5 years of relevant environmental experience
    • 5 years of chemical or manufacturing plant experience

    Preferred Skills and Experience:

    • 1 year or more supervisory experience
    • Permitting, regulatory, and compliance experience in land and water
