    Posting Title: Engineering Coordinator

    Location: Green River, WY

    Pay Grade: 20-22


    Position Summary: 

    The Engineering Coordinator is responsible for demonstrating safety as a number one priority in our Green River facility. The successful candidate will participate in area safety efforts, and the implementation of new FSMA regulatory standards. As the Engineering Coordinator, you will provide relief for Production Supervisors, Production Coordinators, and Production Unit Managers. This position will train plant personnel on new equipment, procedures, and processes as required.  


    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Capital Plan Preparation and Capital Project Execution
    • Leads Operational Excellence and cost reduction efforts
    • Coordinates Engineering
    • Oversees the MOC Process
    • Process and safety improvements
    • Technical Leadership
    • Develop direct reports
    • Continue to support and maintain all FDA, GMP, regulatory & quality standards
    • Additional duties may be assigned


    • Prepare capital plan, and coordinate capital projects
    • Engineering standards compliance
    • Lead Operational Excellence program for Plant Areas
    • Provide Direction on Technical activities in the area
    • Assist in optimization of operational plant efficiency and production rates
    • Coordinate and leads acid cleaning requirements within the plant
    • Identify and follow through with cost savings and efficiency improvement projects
    • Assist with Reliability efforts
    • Establish and manage development plans for direct reports
    • Provide technical training to operators or staff
    • Perform weekend duty
    • Assist with investigation and resolution of customer complaints
    • Support ISO 9000 efforts, including Internal Auditing
    • Champion Plant Responsible Care program


    Required Skills and Experience:  

    Grade 20

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year college or university in Engineering/Chemistry or related field 
    • 5 years of relevant engineering experience in an industrial/manufacturing/plant environment
    • Demonstrated leadership skills  

    Grade 21

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year college or university in Engineering/Chemistry or related field
    • 5 years of relevant engineering experience in an industrial/manufacturing/plant environment
    • 1+ year front line industrial supervisory experience
    • 2-3 years project management experience
    • Demonstrated leadership skills and capacity to perform at a higher level

    Preferred Skills and Experience:

    • Prior supervisory experience in an industrial setting
