    Responsibilities

    Posting Title: Electrical Engineer

    Location: Green River, WY

    Pay Grade: 20-22

     

    Position Summary:

    The Electrical Engineer role for our Green River, WY facility is responsible for developing high-level engineering support for sites, and deliverables for capital projects. The ideal person for this role will have a solid understanding of circuit design, power system management, power distribution, and preferably coordination studies. This role will define company standards and specifications related to engineering principles and specifications.   Primary

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Electrical Equipment Specifications and Standards
    • Electrical Circuit Design
    • Power Distribution System Management
    • Developing high-level engineering support for sites
    • Development of engineering deliverables for capital projects
    • Long-term site engineering plan for engineering standards
    • Coordinate long term facility siting plans
    • Manage discipline engineering resources required to complete assignments
    • Coordinate and own site engineering standards with CES and site Maintenance
    • Ensure projects comply with regulatory requirements
    • Compliance with Process safety, ergonomics, OSHA, MSHA, ISO 9000, environmental agencies, applicable codes and regulatory agencies
    • Ensure projects comply with Corporate Operating Standards
    • Additional duties may be assigned

    Qualifications

    Required Skills and Experience:  

    Grade 20 -

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year college or university in Electrical Engineering
    • 8 years of relevant project, electrical, and instrumentation engineering experience, including 5 years with circuit design and power systems management  

    Grade 22 -

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year college or university in Electrical Engineering
    • 15 years of relevant project, electrical, and instrumentation engineering experience, including 5 years with circuit design and power systems management
    • Demonstrated capacity to perform at a higher level of electrical engineering

    Preferred Skills and Experience:

    • Professional Engineering license
    • Coordination Study
    • 10 years experience with circuit design
